where do you blog? [specify blog host]?
i've been blogging since 2002, and i've tried xanga, blogspot and livejournal. my current bloghost is blogdrive. i think it has the most idiot-friendly set-up. ;D
why did you choose that host?
i think it's perfect for me, kasi i know a little HTML coding, pero i'm no genius at it. the features are also easier to handle, plus madaling mag edit ng entry.
how often do you blog? Everytime i have something to say. so that's everyday. haha. i think i average around 2 posts a day.
when did you start blogging? my blogdrive account i started in feb 2004, but i've been blogging since 2002.
how did you find out about blogging?
my high school batch (UPIS 2002) had a batch blog. i think i was the only member there who posted everyday! kaya ayun, i decided i wanted my own blog.
what makes blogging different from a written journal? one word: privacy. i think my blog is a big part of me because in person, i'm not as expressive, so i let it all out in my blog. besides, my handwriting is not-so-good, so blogging is better for me.
oh, and i tend to lose my diaries, and we all no you can't lose a blog. hahaha.
what time do you blog and why?
late at night or at the wee hours of the morning. it's quieter, and i like to recount the events that took place during the day, so it's convenient.
how many blogmates do you have?
a lot. and i mean A LOT. i had to make my blog links a drop down menu so as to save space.
name the top 5 blogs you've read and what makes them
so different if not special?
top five, my grand buddy bam's blog. apart from his ramblings, he has a lot of features on his sidebar, including "ano itetch," a little game where people try to guess what a picture is.
top four, i used to regularly visit the first last comic standing winner's blog. his name is dat phan and he is vietnamese and he is so funny! its fun to read his account of his tours and stuff.
top three, would be jalski's blog. jalski's a good friend of mine, who just happens to be the bassist of SUGARFREE. too bad he stopped blogging around two months ago.
top two would be the blog of my thesis proposal adviser, sir danilo arao.
and of course, i'd have to say the top one blog i've read is that of my favorite journalism professor, luis teodoro. you just cannot not love him.
what topics, subjects, issues do you like to blog
about?
my experiences, my thoughts and my (eeep!) crushes. i used to write about what i think about Philippine politics, but nakakawalang gana eh.

bloggers? statcounter. lets you know who and why they visit your blog.
aside from the tagboard, what other things does your
blog have? [e.g hit counter, horoscopes. Etc]
hit counter, stat counter, an explanation of my layout, my profile, birthdays, links, countowns, an online counter, a YM button, and my personal favorite, a disclaimer on all of my posts.
what makes you read someone else's blog?
if i can relate to the blogger and if i know him/her. the writing style also helps.
what do you do to attract other bloggers to read your
blog?
nothing really. but i find that putting lyrics of songs ups my hit counter. and putting up the gig skeds of bands also help, but the one thing that attracts readers, and most of the time, bashers too, are my posts on gig-kwentos. i dunno, i guess people either don't believe me, or get too jealous when i post that i know these rockstars that they hopelessly worhip. as one friend of mine said to me, "your famous friends often get you in trouble now, don't they?"
